Privacy notice
This notice explains what personal information Pixeline Studios collects through winnipeglocalseo.com, why we collect it, who sees it and how long we keep it. It is written to be read, not to be survived.
Who we are

We are the organisation responsible for the information described here, and the person accountable for it can be reached at that address or that email.
What we collect, and only when you send it
There is one form on this website, the audit request on the About and contact page. When you submit it we receive the business name, your name, your telephone number, your email address, the kind of business you selected, and anything you typed into the questions field. We also receive the time of submission and the internet address your browser connected from, because our web host records that for every visitor as part of its ordinary security logging.
Nothing is collected before you press the button. We do not run advertising trackers, we do not use analytics that follow you between websites, and we do not set cookies for marketing. If you only read the pages, we do not learn who you are.
Why we use it
- To answer your request, prepare the audit you asked for, and talk to you about it.
- To send you the automated confirmation that your request arrived.
- To keep an ordinary business record of work we were asked to do.
That is the whole list. We do not add you to a mailing list, we do not send a newsletter, and we do not follow up more than twice about a request you did not pursue. There is nothing on this website that subscribes anyone to recurring mail.
Who else sees it
Our web host stores the website and its logs. Our email provider carries the messages. Automated confirmations are delivered through Amazon Simple Email Service, which processes the message and your address in order to deliver it. These suppliers act on our instructions and for no purpose of their own.
We do not sell personal information, we do not rent or trade it, and we have never bought, rented or imported a list of addresses from anyone. If a law or a court order required us to disclose something we would comply, and we would tell you unless we were forbidden to.
Some of these suppliers store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it can be subject to the laws of that country. We use suppliers who contractually commit to comparable protection.
How long we keep it
Audit requests that do not become work are deleted after twelve months. Records of work we performed are kept for seven years, which is the period Canadian tax and business record rules expect. Web server logs are kept by our host for a short period, typically a few weeks, and then overwritten.
Your rights
Under Canadian privacy law, including PIPEDA, you can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it if it is wrong, and ask us to delete it. Write to info@winnipeglocalseo.com or telephone (204) 237-4226. We answer within thirty days and we do not charge for it.
If you are not satisfied with our answer you may complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada, at priv.gc.ca.
Security
The site is served over an encrypted connection. Form submissions are delivered by email to our own mailbox rather than stored in a public database on the website. Access to that mailbox is limited to the people who do the work.
Children
This is a service for businesses. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under eighteen, and we have no reason to.
Changes
If this notice changes we will publish the new version on this page and change the date below. We will not apply a materially different use to information already collected without asking you first.
